Hello Friends! Welcome to my blog divarsani.com. My name is Dipak Varsani. This blog will guide you on copying songs from Audio CD to the computer using a windows media player.
If you have any CD you want to copy on your computer, you need a CD drive on that computer. That CD Drive must support reading your CD, which is enough for you to copy your CD using a windows media player.
Now, you need to follow below steps to copy songs or any media files from your CD to your computer;
- Insert the CD into your CD drive or DVD drive. Please make sure you insert it correctly; otherwise, your drive will not detect it. Play that CD to make sure that your computer has detected that CD and it can read it.
- Go to the start menu and open Windows media player.
- Find the CD on the left-hand side, in Windows Media Player.
- Click on that CD to select.
- Once you click on that CD, you will see the list of all media and songs. Tick the songs or media you want to copy on your computer.
- Press Alt Key on your keyboard, and you will find a menu list. Go to Tool and then Options.
- Select the Rip Music tab in the Options window.
- Choose the Rip music location under Rip music to this location field. You will find your songs and media files at this location once you hit the Rip CD button.
- You can change the format of files, quality and other option.
- After you set the appropriate setting, hit the Okay button, and Windows Media Player will start copping songs or the media you have selected from the list to your Rip music location.
- Let the ripping process get finished, and you can go to your Rip music location to find your songs and media files.
