How to redownload files on Google Chrome?
I had trouble downloading a file on WhatsApp Web through Google Chrome when attempting to download it a second time. I got annoyed at that time because I lost the path of the downloaded file on the first attempt so I wanted to redownload the same file, and It was not downloading when I clicked on the download option. To resolve this issue, please follow the steps outlined below.
- Simply click on the three dots located at the upper right corner and select the settings option.
- Click on the Privacy and Security option from the left-hand side options.
- Simply click on the Site Settings option under Privacy and Security.
- Click on Additional Permissions under the Permissions option.
- Go to the Automatic Download option.
- Tick Sites can ask to automatically download multiple files option under default behaviour.
- Tick option Don’t allow sites to automatically download multiple files if you want to avoid multiple downloads of the same file.
