Points to keep in Mind
- You must register for WhatsApp account on your phone and link new devices with your phone. Registering for WhatsApp using your phone number is a normal requirement and linking WhatsApp with multiple devices gives you access to your existing WhatsApp account through multiple devices.
- You can use WhatsApp only by linking your WhatsApp through your phone, you cannot link another phone with your existing WhatsApp account while one phone is already registered for WhatsApp, unless you are using the desktop mode on the browser of the other phone.
- The Multi-Device option only allows up to a maximum of 4 devices to be linked to the main device at a time.
- If you do not use WhatsApp on your primary device (phone) for over 14 days, the other devices you would have linked will disconnect automatically.
