How to fix your left, right or both AirPods or AirPods Pro if they are not working
The most workable solution is resetting your AirPods or AirPods Pro but do it stepwise, as shown below. Resetting your AirPods or Airpods pro is not possible without iPhone or any apple device.
The reason behind this is you need the latest firmware. When you update your iPhone or any apple device and then reconnect with your AirPods or AirPods pro, it updates their firmware. The case of AirPod and AirPods Pro has hardware which needs the latest compatible firmware to communicate with the latest iOS of iPhone or Any apple device. Follow the steps below to do this.
- Make sure that your iPhone or any apple device is updated.
- Make sure the charging case and both the AirPods are fully charged.
- Insert your AirPods in the charging case and close the case.
- Wait for at least 30 seconds.
- Open your charging case and insert both the AirPods in your ears.
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth > Your AirPods > More Info ( I button on the right side)> Forget this device and tap on Forget Device to confirm again.
- Now place both AirPods in the case, and close the case.
- Bring the case near your iPhone or Apple device, and open the case. (Make sure your device’s Bluetooth is on)
- It will display the message on your iPhone or Apple device to connect the AirPods pro.
- Click on Connect, and it will ask you to Press and hold the button on the back of the charging case. follow all the instruction until it connects your AirPods pro and show you the charging status of your AirPods and charging case.
- This will fix your problem.
